Job responsibilities:

You will assist the Supply Chain Manager in all activities for purchasing, warehousing, logistics and distribution related matters, including the followings:

  • Prepare purchase order, track and expedite order placed
  • Assist to liaise with supplier on claims of defective materials via the issuance of Vendor Defect Notice
  • Assist to verify & confirm the MRP requirement before purchase order issuance
  • Update the materials price, lead time & standard pack
  • Check for production loading & expedite necessary materials
  • Assist in inventory management for consumables
  • Prepare monthly report on all outgoing Purchase Order, Incoming shipment-GRN when necessary
  • Assist to maintain approved vendor list, vendor database, price list and price trend of major raw materials
  • Liaise with forwarding agents on custom and port clearance
  • Other task delegated by the superior

Job Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management/ Supply Chain or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment for this position
  • Familiar with materials sourcing/purchasing and logistics activities
  • Initiative, proactive, resourceful, able to multi-tasks and work independently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work in a team and with minimum supervision
  • Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Computer literate – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Power Point)
