As an Automation Engineer, you will utilize technology to improve, streamline and automate a manufacturing process. You will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of such technologies.

You will be responsible for:

  • The project management and the introduction of highly automated processes into the business,
  • Structuring and confirming business case for automated processes,
  • Cooperating with process experts in the scope of facilitation of process improvements,
  • Identifying new areas for automation,
  • Analysing errors and efficiency in automated processes,
  • Identifying errors in production, their classification and transfer to the owners of relevant processes,
  • Preparing technical documentation associated with the implementation and validation of new automated processes,
  • Suggesting / Selecting appropriate equipment for the performance of relevant processes,
  • Cooperating with other departments and international teams.

Your required profile:

  • Higher technical education. Degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering desirable,
  • Significant automation systems experience within the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device or Food Industries with proficiency with hardware/software platforms, for example, Allen-Bradley and Siemens. At least 3 to 5 years work experience in a similar capacity,
  • Working knowledge and experience in high-level automation, injection moulding and assembly desirable,
  • Good project management experience or supporting qualifications,
  • Analytical thinking abilities,
  • Good knowledge of the English language (written and spoken) – prerequisite,
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills,
  • Very good operational and organizational skills,
  • Self-reliance in decision-making,
  • Experience working in a highly regulated cleanroom environment.
